Gearbox Robotics Academy brings hands-on robotics straight to your home (or venue of your choice). Using LEGO Prime and NXT kits, guests build their own robot and learn to program it — then put their creations to the test in fun mini-challenges and games. No experience needed; every kid leaves having built and programmed something real. Parents are always welcome to join in the fun too!

Pricing:
$499 flat rate - covers up to 20 kids, all equipment, and 3–6 hours of activity.
+$15 per additional kid, up to a max of 30 kids total.

Do we need to provide anything?
Just the space, food or drink, and party decorations! We bring all robotics kits, tablets/laptops for programming, and activity materials. A table or open floor area is ideal.
How long does the party run?
Parties run 3–6 hours depending on group size and skill level — younger or first-time builders may run longer to complete their robots comfortably.
What ages is this good for?
Best suited for ages 7 and up. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to join in.
Can we host at a venue other than our home?
Yes - we can travel to a venue of your choice in Sherwood Park, as long as there's space to build and enough power outlets/table space for the group.
Do you offer sessions for adults too?
Yes! We also run robotics sessions for adult groups - great for team-building events, community groups, or just a fun new hobby. Contact us for details and pricing.
